UniRevTM

The UniRev is a universal multi-coil 2-step rev-limiter that is compatible with most inductive ignitions. Two independent rev-limiters are at your disposal to safely limit your engine's RPM by suppressing spark on alternating cylinders. The UniRev promotes more consistent launches and helps eliminate turbo lag.

Unlike competing products that rely on pills or dials, the UniRev uses two control wires to command each rev-limiter: one wire to set the rev-limiter and another to activate the 2-step. Rev your engine to the desired RPM and set the UniRev, then activate when you are ready to build boost and launch! And with the ability to set either rev-limiter on the fly, you can beat the competition from a dig or from a roll.

The UniRev also has a built-in kill switch to help protect against theft. Installation requires 'T' connections into each negative coil wire and can usually be completed in less than an hour. Vehicles with integrated coil/ingitor modules can sometimes be modified to gain access to the negative coil wire.

UniRev FAQ

Q: Can one of the rev-limiters be setup as an always-on upper rev-limit?
A: Yes. Wire rev-limiter #1 to always be active (activate #1 wire always grounded). Whenever you activate rev-limiter #2, it will override rev-limiter #1.

Q: Will the UniRev work with my aftermarket capacitive discharge (CD) ignition system?
A: No. The UniRev is only compatible with inductive ignitions. A CD ignition will permanently damage the UniRev.

Q: Can I mount the UniRev inside the engine bay?
A: We do not recommend it! The UniRev was designed to be installed inside the vehicle.

Q: What size fuse should I use when installing the UniRev?
A: We recommend using a switched supply connected through a 10 amp fuse.

Q: I have less than eight coils; what should I do with the unused coil wires on the UniRev?
A: All unused coil wires on the UniRev must be connected to ground.
